Se trata ONE-WAY MIRROR, la nueva banda con miembros de SCARVE, SOILWORK y MNEMIC, entre otros. Para ser más exactos se trata de:

- Dirk Verbeuren (SOILWORK)
- Loic Colin (SCARVE, WATCHA)

Ellos sacaron su disco el 27 de junio, autotitulado, por Metal Blade Records. La batería fue grabada en el estudio de Daniel Bergstrand(MESHUGGAH, IN FLAMES). La mezcla estuvo a cargo de Tue Madsen (SICK OF IT ALL, DARK TRANQUILLITY, MNEMIC, MOONSPELL).

Nueva banda sueca

"Destination Device", the new video from ONE-WAY MIRROR — the French band featuring Guillaume Bideau (MNEMIC), David and Franck Potvin (LYZANXIA, PHAZE I), Dirk Verbeuren (SOILWORK) and Loic Colin (SCARVE, WATCHA) — can be viewed below. The song comes off the group's self-titled debut album, which was released on June 27 (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and June 30 (rest of Europe) via Metal Blade Records. The CD willl be issued in the U.S. on July 22.

Commented David Potvin: "'Destination Device' is probably the most crushing way to introduce ONE-WAY MIRROR sound. This song embodies perfectly our music direction, and that’s why we choose it as the opening song. The Decaillon brothers, who directed the video, found the absolute way to illustrate the energy of this track."

According to a press release, "ONE-WAY MIRROR's self-titled debut album is nothing less than a killing machine with potential megahits, including future anthems 'Empty Spaces', 'As You Are Now', 'Destination Device' as well as a mindblowing rock version of 'Relax' by Eighties band FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD!"

ONE-WAY MIRROR recorded the drums for the album with Daniel Bergstrand (MESHUGGAH, IN FLAMES) at the Dug-Out Studio while everything else was recorded later on at LYZANXIA's Dome Studio and Guillaume Bideau's Dogs In The House Studio and produced by Guillaume Bideau and David Potvin. The band then went to Denmark to get the tracks mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen (SICK OF IT ALL, DARK TRANQUILLITY, MNEMIC, MOONSPELL) at the Antfarm Studio.

Sesionista de Metal femenino saca CD

Se trata de BAGGA BOWNZ, la banda solista Koen Herfst, quien grabara las baterías en las últimas placas de EPICA, AFTER FOREVER y CYPHER. La placa será debut, y llevará por título "Done With the Pain".

El CD fue grabado y mezclado en los Nutsville Noise Lab, y masterizado en Sterling Sound, donde ya trabajaron STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, SEPULTURA, ILL NINO y FEAR FACTORY.

El quinto de HEARSE

Se viene el nuevo disco de la banda del ex ARCH ENEMY Johan Liiva, junto a su compañero baterista ex FURBOWL, Max Thornell. Será el sucesor de "In These Veins", editado en 2007 por Candlelight Records.

Sale uno de Caffery

El guitarrista Chris Caffery (SAVATAGE) se encuentra en estudios desde abril grabando lo que será su nuevo disco solista, que se espera que esté en las calles en octubre. Para el mismo, tendrá de invitados a Glen Drover [ex-MEGADETH] y Zak Stevens [CIRCILE II CIRCLE, ex-SAVATAGE).

Además también incluirá el cover de BOB MARLEY "Get Up, Stand Up". Otras canciones serán "House Of Insanity", "Shame", "Fight The Fleas", "Sorry", "Schizophrenia", "Seasons Change", "Back's To The Wall", "Solitaire", "Winter in Hamburg" y "No Matter What".

...para la nueva gira por Sudamerica. El nuevo es Travis Neal (PUSHED, THE BERAVED), quien tiene unos 28 años de edad. Recordemos que hace poco partió del grupo Tommy Cummings.

Entre el 26 de agosto y el 1 de septiembre sale a la venta lo que será la nueva placa de la histórica banda. Llevará por título "Motörizer" y sale por SPV Records.

La banda thrasher de Los Angeles anunció que su nuevo baterista será Nic Ritter. El nuevo, de unos 27 años, estuvo anteriormente en el grupo de Thrash progresivo PROTOTYPE, que por cierto tiene un tema en el "Guitar Hero III"

Recordemos que el debut de esta creciente banda fue "War Without End", que salió el 5 de febrero

GRAVE DIGGER en estudio

Cheeeeeeee, estos los garcan los discos. Siempre grabando. Los alemanes Power Metal ingresarán a estudios el 15 de agosto para grabar lo que será su nueva placa, pensada para editarse en enero de 2009. Serán alrededor de 10 canciones bajo un concepto exclusivo.

Lo último de GRAVE DIGGER fue "Liberty or Death", editado en enero de 2007 por Locomotive Records.
